About Chaihaus

Chai is more than a drink. For millions of people, it's a morning ritual, a remedy for cold nights, a reason to slow down and sit with the people you love. In Indian homes, a pot of chai on the stove means someone is being taken care of.

But somewhere along the way, chai got lost in translation. Big-name cafes replaced real spice with artificial concentrates and flavour extracts — a shortcut that strips away everything that makes chai special. We started Chaihaus because we believed that wasn't good enough.

Our family has always kept a jar of homemade spice blend in the kitchen. It made our mornings easier without sacrificing the depth and warmth of authentic chai — no grinding individual spices, no boiling in separate stages. Just one pot, a few minutes, and a cup that tastes like it was made with care. Because it was.

Every jar of Chaihaus is made by hand in small batches. Whole spices are carefully sourced, toasted by hand, stone-ground, and bottled — nothing artificial, no fillers, no shortcuts. It's the same blend our family has relied on for years, now made available for yours.

Chaihaus is a family operation in every sense. Management and marketing run out of Canada. Operations and manufacturing are handled by our family in Arizona. We work across borders because that's just how our family works — together.
